The Cincinnati Music Festival is one of the longest-running R&B and soul festivals in the country. It began in 1962 as the Ohio Valley Jazz Festival, and 2027 is its 60th anniversary according to a travel-industry event listing. It is held at Paycor Stadium on the Ohio River, where the Cincinnati Bengals play.
2027 dates
Third-party listings, including The Voice of Black Cincinnati and a Cincinnati tourism listing, show July 22 to 24, 2027, with July 22 as a pre-party. The festival’s own site had not posted 2027 dates when we checked, so confirm at cincymusicfestival.com before booking anything.
Tickets
The festival’s ticket page says Ticketmaster tickets and Jampack ticket packages for 2027 are coming soon, with in-office ticket sales tentatively expected to begin in September. Buy from the festival’s official ticket page. Resale and package sellers set their own prices.
Plan your trip
Hotels near downtown fill early on festival weekends. Book a group block or lock in a refundable room first, then buy tickets when they go on sale. Plan one sit-down dinner at a Black-owned spot in the city.
